Based on a note on the reverse of this photograph, the girl on the extreme right on the back row is Emily Hinde Hutchinson Barnes (1859-1932).

Emily was the eldest child of William & Sarah Barnes; William was a painter and decorator who operated from a shop on the corner of Villa Street.
The Barnes family were Baptists - indeed, William was a preacher - and it is on this basis that the circumstances of this picture are assumed.

Emily married the "boy next door", Isaac Thornhill, the son of William Thornhill, both well-known Beeston tailors.
