A group of women maintenance staff at the Barton Transport garage, probably in the 1940s.
Standing, first left (next to the door) is Mary Copestake and, standing at the other end is Winifred Hardy
Mary Copestake was a conductress on the Nottingham to Derby route and is said to have met her husband when he was a passenger.
