Beeston Foundry Outing to Matlock - ?1920s
|
An undated photograph, probably from the 1920s, said to be of an outing to Matlock by employees of Beeston Foundry (later Beeston Boiler Company)
The charabanc is from Trent Motor Traction (now part of Trentbarton) and, according to the plate on the side, it had a top speed of 15 mph!
However, as it appears to be at Trent Bridge, the suggested destination appears to be in doubt.
Any suggestions for other names or other information would be most welcome
