On the balance of probability, this is Beeston United Football Club from 1921/22. Although the photograph was taken at Notts County's ground, perhaps on the occasion of an important match, we have found no reference to in the Nottingham newspapers. The Beeston Gazette remains to be checked. The photograph was, however, taken by Frederick Moore, the then well known Beeston photographer. It is interesting to note that the cup trophies appear to be the same as those that are shown in the club's team photograph from 1964/65.

No names are known so we would be very interested in hearing from anyone who can recognise any of the faces and/or confirm that it is the Beeston team and any other details.
