Ericsson Dramatic Society - about 1937
|
The Ericsson Dramatic Society was founded in 1933 and performed regularly for local audiences. After the war the
society became particularly well known for its very popular annual pantomime.
Shown here is a currently unidentified production from about 1937. On this occasion it was accompanied by an orchestra which included Derrick
Avery on violin, seated at the front, second left.
Photograph kindly supplied by Derrick Avery's son. Ted Avery. Any suggestions for names are always welcome.
