Valley Mission Bible Class - 1903-5

Valley Mission Bible Class

Based on a note on the reverse of this photograph, it shows a group of young men who where members of the Valley Mission Bible Class
in Beeston between 1903 and 1905.

The note mentions that the leader was "Mr W Kirk". Assuming that this is the elderly gentleman seated near the middle of the front row.
we have been unable to match anyone of his apparent age with anyone on the 1901 census for Beeston.
Although there was then a "William Kirk" who traded as a draper at 96 Queens Road, Beeston, he was only 44 in 1901.
It seems more likely - but not proven - that the man shown is Henry Kirk of The Oaks, Broadgate, Beeston, a lace manufacturer, then age 66.

Thanks to David Gunther for offering the picture, from the household of the Foxall family.
George Foxall, the son of Joseph Henry & Sarah Foxall, then of 19 Mona Street but later of Thyra Grove, was about 19 at the time of the photograph and is likely to be amongst the group.

Suggestions for names and any other information are very welcome
