Note 1 : This is apparently the only individual the fits the name and age - although nothing has been found to link him to Beeston. In 1871 the family was living in Basford; in 1881 in Sneinton.
Note 2 : Possible Robert WALLIS, b. Sneinton, Notts c1866, son of Thomas (a builder) and Maria. This family had moved from Sneinton to Chilwell, Notts by 1869 and to Middle St, Beeston by 1876. He did have
a (much) younger brother William. By 1881, Robert was apprenticed to his father.
