• Occupation: fitter's labourer, at the time of the census in April 1881. ³⁴⁵ He was then living at 46 Nottingham Road, Stapleford, Notts with his wife and very elderly mother-in-law.

• Occupation: general labourer, at the time of the census in April 1891. ³⁴⁶ He and his wife were then living at Nottingham Rd, Stapleford, Notts

Henry married Harriet Clifford, daughter of Joseph Clifford and Mary, on 21 Aug 1854 in Stapleford, Notts.⁵ (Harriet Clifford was born circa 1828 in Sawley, Derbys ^{326,327,328,329}.)
