• Occupation: stocking framework knitter, at the time of the census in April 1861. ⁶⁰ She was then living with her step-daughter and brother at 11 Pleasant Row, Beeston, Notts

• Occupation: charwoman, at the time of the census in April 1871. ⁶¹ She was then a widow, living alone at Middle Street, Beeston, Notts.

• Residence: Brown Lane, Beeston, Notts, at the time of the census in April 1881. ⁶² She was then living with her adult son, Thomas.

Elizabeth married Thomas Fletcher, son of John Fletcher and Mary Martin, on 31 Jan 1846 in Beeston Parish Church, Notts.⁴³ (Thomas Fletcher was born circa 1805 in Beeston, Notts ^44,45, baptised on 30 Jun 1805 in Beeston Parish Church, Notts ⁴⁶ and died before 2 Apr 1871.)
