William married Elizabeth Harvey on 7 May 1831 in Nottingham (St Nicholas).²⁴ (Elizabeth Harvey was born circa 1804 in Granby, Notts ¹¹² and died on 16 Feb 1868 ²².)

William next married Sarah Wilford in 1872.²² (Sarah Wilford was born circa 1829 ²² and died on 14 Jun 1902 ²².)
