• Residence, for some years following her marriage, Chicago, Illinois, USA. 22 In the 1930's they moved back to California and bought a chicken farm in Hayward, California. After they later sold the chicken farm Katie went to work as a corset seamstress at Hittenburger's in San Francisco where they lived in the Richmond District.
