Thomas Edward Dennis

This was connected with a claim against the estate of his brother
James Dennis of Leeds by his daughter Ann Rebecca.
Declaration dated 21/6/1926 by Wm Hudston brother of Ann Rebecca who
had "kept his house for 27 years" up to that time

  Noted events in his life were:

• Occupation: outside labourer, at the time of the census in April 1871, Wortley, Yorks. ³⁵⁶ where he was lodging at 9 Baptist Street.

• Occupation: Plate Layer, 3 Apr 1881, Eastwood, Notts. ³⁵¹

• Occupation: plate layer, at the time of the census in April 1891, Eastwood, Notts. ³⁵⁷ where he was living with his wife, daughter and two boarders, both of which were working for the railway.

Thomas married Ann Rebecca Hudston, daughter of William Hudston and Jane Dowman, on 14 Jul 1877 in Heanor Parish Church, Derbys.³⁵⁰ (Ann Rebecca Hudston was born on 24 Jan 1840 in Ockbrook, Derbys,³¹⁷ died in 1922 and was buried on 2 Aug 1922.)
