• Occupation: book-keeper, at the time of the census in April 1861. ¹⁵⁴ He was then living with his wife at 8 Gower St, Leicester.

• Occupation: agent for Canal Company carrier, at the time of the census in April 1871. ²⁰⁵ He was then living with his wife and two children at 80½ Rutland St, Leicester.

Henry married Susan Jowett, daughter of Enoch Jowett and Jane Plackett, Q2 1858 in Leicester Registration District. (Susan Jowett was born circa 1833 in Derbyshire ^{149,150,151,152}, baptised on 21 Apr 1833 in Breaston, Derbys ⁶² and died Q4 1872 in Leicester Registration District.)
