• Occupation: Railway Servant, before the time of the census in March 1901. ¹⁹⁵ By that time he was retired and living with his wife at 22 Hampden St, Beeston, Notts.

Silas married Mary Maria James Q2 1862 in Nottingham Registration District.⁷⁶ (Mary Maria James was born circa 1827 in Paris, France ^77,78.)
