Maurice married Rosa Markham, daughter of William Markham and Mary Ball, on 18 Mar 1875 in Beeston Parish Church.¹⁵ (Rosa Markham was born on 21 Jan 1842 in Lenton, Notts ⁹⁵, baptised on 6 Feb 1842 in Lenton, Notts,¹⁴ died on 1 Nov 1919 ⁹⁵ and was buried in Beeston Parish Church.)
