• Will: leaving all her property to her daughter Rosa. 120 This included the Commercial Inn with the butcher's shop, coachhouse, stables and other outbuildings. The bequest was made in a way which made it free from the control of any husband with whom she might marry.


Mary married William Markham, son of Thomas Markham and Mary, on 21 May 1829 in Lenton, Notts.15 (William Markham was born circa 1804 in Beeston, Notts 117, baptised on 4 Mar 1804 in Beeston Parish Church,14 died on 11 Jun 1871 and was buried in Jun 1871 in Beeston Parish Church.)
