Joseph married Eunice Boot, daughter of Thomas Boot and Rebecca Mee, on 27 Aug 1860 in Lenton, Notts.¹⁵ (Eunice Boot was born circa 1831 in Lenton, Notts ^22,30 and was baptised on 20 Mar 1831 in Lenton, Notts ¹⁴.)
