Henry Adcock

  Noted events in his life were:

• Retirement: Royal Marine pensioner, at the time of the census in March 1851. ²¹² He was then living with his wife and step-daughter at Church Street, Beeston

• Retirement: "Greenwich Pensioner", at the time of the census in April 1871. ²¹³ He was then living with his wife, step-daughter and her husband at Middle Street, Beeston and also working as a framework knitter

• Occupation: framework knitter of stockings, at the time of the census in April 1861. ²¹⁴ He was then living with his wife, step-daughter and two of her children at Chapel Street, Beeston

Henry married Mary Ann Kirkby, daughter of Samuel Kirkby and Mary. (Mary Ann Kirkby was baptised on 22 Mar 1807 in St Marys, Hucknall Torkard, Nottingham ¹⁴.)
