Samuel Crabtree

  Noted events in his life were:

• Apprenticeship: butcher, 1796, Nottingham. ²⁷⁸ . He is then described as the son of John Crabtree, weaver. He was appointed a Burgess of the Borough of Nottingham in 1797; this would mark the completion of his apprenticeship.

• Occupation: butcher: Nottingham. ²⁷⁷ He was so shown at the time of his childrens' births from 1800 to 1821 and on the Watch & Ward rolls in 1816.

Samuel married Elizabeth Heward on 2 Oct 1799 in St Peters Church, Nottingham.²⁶ (Elizabeth Heward was born circa 1781 outside Notts ²⁷⁹.)
